<p>When you have downloaded the setup package, install it by double-clicking on it and following the setup wizard instructions.</p>

<p>During installation, when asked to provide a license certificate, you should select the <span class="reference">Download license automatically</span> option, whereby the software will attempt to "call home" to retrieve its license. If it is unable to do so, you may need to obtain the license manually.</p>
<h4>Obtaining a license manually</h4>
<p>When entering a license manually, you will need to make a copy of the <span class="reference">Product Key</span> that the software displays to you, then complete the following steps to obtain a license certificate:-</p>
<ol>
<li>Log in to the <a href="http://gateway.tri-line.com/">Gateway</a> using your username and password.</li>
<li>In the <span class="reference">Products</span> panel, click on the TIM Enterprise product you want to obtain a license for (usually, you'll only have one such product)</li>
<li>In the <span class="reference">Software license</span> panel, click on the <span class="reference">Activate now</span> link</li>
<li>Paste the product key you obtained from the TIM Enterprise setup wizard into the activation text box</li>
<li>Choose the number of users you intend to log</li>
<li>Enter the version of TIM Enterprise you are running (shown in the browser title bar in the software's setup wizard)</li>
<li>Click <span class="reference">Activate Now</span> to obtain the license certificate</li>
<li>Paste the certificate into the box in the TIM Enterprise setup wizard</li>
</ol>
<p>If you cannot create a license certificate, follow the steps above to log in to the <a href="http://gateway.tri-line.com/">Gateway</a>, then raise a support ticket with our technical team. Please provide the product key that the setup wizard gave you, and specify any error messages you receive.</p> |
