Configuring TIM Plus

Below you will find steps on how to configure TIM Plus to listen for SMDR data from your Aastra BP:

The Aastra BP phone system sends SMDR information via a serial connection. To collect the data from the serial port, you will first need to install NetPbx software,which then sends the SMDR to TIM Plus. For setup instructions, click on the link below:

Install and configure NetPbx

Once NetPbx is configured and collecting data, log on to TIM Plus as usual and apply the following settings:

1. Click on the

   Buttonmacro
   Label Directory

   tab .Select and select the site configured during the setup wizard and click .
2. Click on Within

   Buttonmacro
   Label Properties

   .

   Porperties

   and within the

   Referencemacro
   Label Site properties

   window, select

   Keywordmacro
   Label Aastra BP

   from the

   Referencemacro
   Label PBX model

   drop-down list.

3. In the

   Referencemacro
   Label Connection method

   field, select

   Keywordmacro
   Label No connection required

   from the drop-down list.
4. Finally, click on the

   Buttonmacro
   Label Save

   button to apply the changes.
