<h2>Adding a Channel Group</h2>

<p>To add a Channel Group to the directory, simply select 'Channel Group' from the Organisation unit list and give it a name that represents its function e.g. Main ISDN 30 as shown below. Then click <b>Add</b> to put in to your directory.</p>

<p>There are no limits to the amount of channel groups you can add so you can set up all your ISDN, analogue, fax lines and  private circuits exactly as they are on your switch. You simply select the Channel Group, give it a name and press add.cost centres, select this organisational unit and place it in the directory in a position that replicates your actual organisational structure.&nbsp; For example, if you classify 'Admin' as a cost centre, simply create a cost centre called Admin and place all divisions, groups, department and extensions underneath as shown below:</p>

<p>Your Channel Groups will appear in the Directory as follows:</p>

<p>Please note that a channel group on one site can be linked its counterpart on another site to provide on-net calls. To do this, click on the channel group and select properties. A screen similar to the following will appear:</p>

<p>Then click on the green add beside Remote end to drill down through directory until you find the channel group you would like to select for the 'B' end. Click on the green tick <img alt="Green tick" title="Green tick" onerror="imageSubtract(this);" onload="imageSubtract(this);" src="/web.ntl?cmd=docs.getimg&amp;i=80026"> when you are ready to choose the 'B' end you would like to create the private circuit relationship with

NOTE: Divisions, Cost Centres, Group and Sites are very similar and almost interchangeable. Simply use the icons best suited to reflect your actual organisational structure.

<h2>Adding a Cost Centre</h2>

<p>To add a Cost Centre to the directory, simply select 'Cost Centre' form the Organisation unit list and give it a name that represents its function e.g. IT as shown below. Then click <b>Add</b> to put in to your directory.</p>

<p>There are no limits to the amount of Cost Centres you can add. As there is no limit to the depth of the hierarchy within TIM Enterprise, you may add Cost Centres within cost centres. You simply select Cost Centre, give it a name and press add.</p>
