<p>These instructions should assist in configuring your Mitel SX50 to
work with TIM Enterprise. If you are not familiar with PBX
configuration, please contact your system maintainer.</p>

<h2>Configuring your SMDR</h2>
<p>By default the Mitel SX50 doesn't have SMDR enabled. To enable SMDR
for the Mitel SX50 you need to follow the steps below:
<ol>
<li>Access the programming interface.</li>
<li>Within the programming interface you need to access <span class="button" id="list">Systems Options Programming</span>.</li>
<li>Access Command 100, register 14.</li>
<li>You will be presented with four options. You need to enable <span class="keyword">Enabled for both incoming and outgoing trunk calls</span>.</li>
<li>Make sure that SMDR is enabled in all of your 'Class of Services (Command 121-129)' and trunk groups (Command 151-156).</li>
</ol>
<h2>Configuring TIM Enterprise</h2>
<p>Below you will find steps on how to configure TIM Enterprise to listen for SMDR data from your Mitel SX50:</p>
<ol>
<li>Browse to TIM Enterprise as normal and login with your credentials.</li>
<li>Click on the <span class="button" id="list">Directory</span> tab.</li>
<li>Go the the point in the Directory where you need to add the PBX Object and add a PBX with the name 'Mitel SX50'.</li>
<li>Left-click on it and select <span class="button" id="list">Properties</span>.</li>
<li>From the <span class="button" id="list">General</span> settings tab select <span class="keyword">Mitel SX50</span> from the PBX model list.</li>

<li>In the <span class="button" id="list">Connection</span> tab select <span class="keyword">No connection required</span> from the <span class="reference">Connection method</span> list.</li>
<li>Finally, click on the <span class="button" id="list">Save</span> button.</li>

Configuring your SMDR output
By default, the SMDR output of your Mitel is not enabled. To enable it, perform the steps below:
- Within the PBX programming interface choose Systems Options Programming.
- Access Command 100, register 14 .
Set the Enabled for both incoming and outgoing trunk calls option.
- Ensure SMDR is enabled in all of your Class of Services (Commands 121-129) and Trunk Groups (Commands 151-156).

Installing NetPBX
The Mitel SX50 phone system sends SMDR information via a serial connection. To collect the data from the serial port and send it to TIM Enterprise, you first need to install the netpbx software. For setup instructions, click on the link below:

Configuring TIM Enterprise
Once NetPBX is configured and collecting data, log in to TIM Enterprise and perform the following steps:
- Click on the Directory tab.
- Locate the PBX object you want to configure in the Directory, right-click on it and select Properties.
- A new window will open, displaying the general properties of your PBX object. Select Mitel SX50 from the Data format list and tick the
