These instructions help you configure your Avaya Communications Manager phone system to work with TIM Plus. Contact your system maintainer if you are not familiar with the configuration of your PBX.

Configuring SMDR
The Avaya EuroGeneris has multiple outputs SMDR outputs. To configure the CDR output you will need to speak with your system maintainer. TIM Plus requires the SMDR output to be set to customized and the format should be Format 5 rows 80 columns.
Installing NetPBX
The Avaya EuroGeneris phone system sends SMDR information via a serial connection. To collect the data from the serial port, you will first need to install NetPBX software,which then sends the SMDR to TIM Plus. For setup instructions, click on the link below:
Configuring TIM Plus
Once NetPBX is configured and collecting data, log on to TIM Plus as usual and apply the following settings:
- Click on the tab.
- Click on the site configured during the setup wizard and click .
- Within the Site Properties window, select Avaya EuroGeneris from the PBX model drop-down list.
- In the Connection method field select No connection required from the drop-down list.
- Finally, click on the button.
These instructions should assist in configuring your Avaya EuroGeneris to work with TIM Plus. If you are not familiar with PBX configuration, please contact your system maintainer.

Configuring CDR
The Avaya EuroGeneris has multiple outputs for CDR. To configure the CDR output you need to speak to your system maintainer. You need to inform them that the CDR output should be set to customized and the format should be Format 5 rows 80 columns.
Configuring TIM Plus
Below you will find steps on how to configure TIM Plus to listen for SMDR data from your Avaya EuroGeneris:
- Browse to TIM Plus as normal and login with your credentials.
- Click on the tab.
- Click on the site configured during the setup wizard and click or create a new site and click .
- Within the Site Properties window, select Avaya EuroGeneris from the PBX model drop-down list.
- In the Connection method field select No connection required from the drop-down list.
- Finally, click on the button.
