In order to enable TIM Plus to send out scheduled reports, call alarms, missed call notifications or system alerts, you will need to enter the details of your e-mail server, as shown below:
Below you can find a description of all the fields that need to be filled in. You may need to consult your network administrator if you don't know any of the required information.
Fild name | Description |
---|---|
Server host & port | This is the address for your company's mail server. Enter in an IP address or DNS name and the port number, which by default is 25. |
Greeting name | Many mail servers require a Greeting name to identify the computer that is sending the email. In most cases, this will be the network name of the server running TIM Plus. |
"From" address | This value should be set to the email address of the user that emails will appear to be sent from. |
Type | If your mail server requires authentication, select the method it uses from the list below. Choose None if the authentication is automatic or not used. |
Username | Enter in the username of the SMTP authentication. |
Password | Enter in the password of the SMTP authentication. |
Test address | To verify your e-mail settings, enter an address to send a test email to. |
