An Organisation unit is the class of objects that allows you to structure the hierarchy of your Directory. The objects belonging to this category are sites, groups, divisions and cost centres. A special type of group is also available, known as Reporting Collection, which acts as a virtual container that collates disparate users from anywhere in your organisation, for reporting purposes.
These Organisation unit objects can be placed at any level in the Directory, allowing maximum flexibility when structuring the Directory, e.g. Cost Centres can contain Sites and Sites can contain several Cost Centres.
