Asterisk based PBXs

These instructions should assist in configuring your Asterisk based PBX to work with TIM Enterprise. If you are not familiar with PBX configuration, please contact your system maintainer.

IP: You will need to follow the below steps to enable CDR to me sent out via IP on your Asterisk based PBX:

Enter the Server Setup System.
Under the Advanced section select to edit the manager_custom.conf.
Add the following lines to the file: [CDRout]secret = cdrdeny = 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0permit = 10.0.0.0/255.0.0.0permit = 192.168.0.0/255.255.0.0permit = 212.57.232.128/255.255.255.128read = callwrite =.
Click Edit to confirm the change.

IP method

TCP/IP connection: TIM Enterprise makes a connection to the Asterisk PBX.

Once you have completed the changes, you will need to restart the Asterisk for the changes to take effect.

Configuring TIM Enterprise

Below you will find steps on how to configure TIM Enterprise to listen for SMDR data from your Siemens HiCom-HiPath:

Browse to TIM Enterprise as normal and login with your credentials.
Click on the Directory tab.
Go the the point in the Directory where you need to add the PBX Object and add a PBX with the name 'Siemens HiCom-HiPath'.
Left-click on it and select Properties.
From the General settings tab select Siemens HiCom-HiPath from the PBX model list.

In the Connection tab select Listen for connection from PBX from the Connection method list.
In the Port field enter in 9000.
Finally, click on the Save button.
